BOARDWALK DISTRICT

Terms of Service

V1 business policy ยท October 6, 2026

These are Boardwalk District business terms , not attorney-approved terms. Final legal review is recommended before public launch.

Digital property

A Boardwalk District property, plot, or building is a digital advertising and property placement inside our virtual environment. It is not physical real estate, ownership of land, a deed, a security, equity in Boardwalk District, or an investment product. A claim does not convey physical property. We do not promise appreciation, resale value, investment returns, traffic, or advertising results.

Claim and active term

A claim has a 12-month active term beginning only after payment successfully completes and the property claim successfully activates. Advertisement review or approval does not set or delay the term start. A server-side activation timestamp records the start for new claims.

Manual renewal and pricing

Renewal is initially manual; there is no automatic recurring charge. The annual renewal fee is the property's current authoritative one-floor base price when renewal is due, without an added fee for purchased floors. Today's one-floor base is $5 for a standard property and $10 for a beachfront property. Future prices may change; our intended policy is to give at least 30 days' advance notice of a material renewal-price change where applicable. Intended reminders are approximately 30, 14, 7, and 1 day before term end, but reminder automation is not active.

Grace and end of claim

After the active term, the intended seven-day grace period keeps the property associated with its owner and unavailable to a new buyer. The owner may renew; the approved ad may remain visible and the property may remain in My Properties. If the owner does not renew through the full grace period, the claim may end and the plot may return to inventory at its then-current one-floor base price. The former owner would lose active control; a new owner's floors start from the new purchase, while the permanent Plot ID, location, tier, beachfront classification, and ownership history remain. Expiration, grace transitions, and release are not automated or active currently.

Accounts, ads, and enforcement

Keep account information accurate and secure. You are responsible for submitted material, rights to images, logos, names and trademarks, and destination URLs. New or changed ads may need approval under the Content Rules. An existing approved ad may remain public during replacement review. Approval is not our endorsement. We may reject or remove prohibited content and restrict, suspend, or terminate access for serious or repeated violations. A visitor report prompts review but does not itself prove a violation.

Payment and cancellation

Purchases are generally final after successful activation, subject to the circumstances and remedies in our Cancellation and Refund Policy. Canceling future renewal does not undo an already activated term. Automatic renewal is not active.

Governing law and review

The intended governing law is the law of the State of Florida, United States. Exact venue and dispute-resolution terms require legal review before public launch; this draft does not impose arbitration, class-action, or jury-trial waivers.

Contact

For account, purchase, billing, or property issues, the intended contact is support@boardwalkdistrict.com. Mailbox delivery must be verified before public launch.
